I want to link my Instagram with my IMDbPro account

Let me try and go to YouTube if I can see some helpful videos on how to link my Instagram, TikTok and Facebook page to my IMDb.

@realpenpencil​ I made the mistake of using Safari’s share feature instead of copying the URL from the address bar, but I’ve corrected it now.

YouTube videos might help with showing one how to edit in general, but if they’re not from IMDb you can’t be sure that they show you how to follow the standard ways of formatting things for consistency. Always refer to IMDb’s submission guides for that.

The relevant guide does specifically mention linking to Facebook. You need to use “Facebook” as the description for links to personal accounts but “Facebook Fan Page” for Pages.

Instagram and TikTok don’t have such a division, so I think just the name of the SNS should be the description, like how the guide specifies for Twitter and LinkedIn. But the name should be capitalised as it is officially in text (so, TikTok, like you used the second time, rather than tiktok, even if the logo is in all lower case).

English_pedantic_grammarian did not say you couldn't link Instagram to IMDb. In fact, you should be able to put a link to your Instagram page on your IMDb name page. I know some other people have Instagram links on their IMDb pages.

To do this, go to your name page on IMDb. Click "Edit page".

On the next screen, scroll down to the Links to Other Sites section near the bottom of the page, and on the Official Sites line, select "Add 1 item". Click "Continue".

On the next screen, enter the URL of your Instagram page in the Official Site box. In the Description box, just enter the one word:

Instagram

Click "Check these updates". Your data should then appear with a green background, and you should be able to click "Submit these updates".

This board can only help you with IMDb matters, while Instagram is a completely separate site. IMDb is owned by Amazon.com, Inc., while Instagram is owned by Meta Platforms (the parent company of Facebook).
