I really lost hope of imdb...

Explain what? People removing factual information from title and adding their own fake one and it's happening third time already on this title alone, i am fighting these people for years on many titles and imdb just doesn't care, they say yeah it's fixed for now or yeah we won't allow this to happen anymore, but it keeps happening, so they clearly doesn't care, because it's not us or another western title, so who cares right? Imdb just doesn't give equel rights to western and eastern titles, western titles are overprotected you can't do anything even with factual and confirmed source, but on eastern titles you can do whatever you want, add fake stuff, remove factual stuff, trash it's rating with bots, i am fighting this for years and i am so tired of it. This wouldn't continue to happen if there would be equel rights, these people who does this, they would lose interest in doing this, but since nobody prevents them from that, they are happy to continue it, because it gives them joy. I mostly wouldn't care about this, but i always hear from imdb how their goal is to be most accurate site of movies or whatever, but that never happening, because of this. Because they care just for certain titles, not all of it. Then just allow western titles on imdb and nothing else, that would solve this problem.

@ugnieska​ thanks for explanation... I just was curious on what was your concern. I agree that all contributions should be audited and more care should be taken on permission to add or modify data. Its a pity, but many people just want to disturb the rest

I don't mind to give extra sources or evidence of my contributions, but only if my contributions will be protected from these people. But since people are randomly allow to trash title just for fun, i start to question myself why then i do this? I am not getting paid here, i just spending my own time here, that maybe i could spend somewhere else. But i love movies, shows and i want them to look good not only for titles sake, but for imdb too. Also i am not asking to get paid here, i just want respect from imdb that i spend my time here, to do stuff for imdb. But they just ignore these huge problems most of the time

@ugnieska​ Totally agree... That is also my feeling. I contribute because I love cinema, but some times is so dissapointing

Also i suggested to separate imdb contributor from imdb pro contributor, to give them more protection, this would solve a lot, also i don't mind to be challanged on my contributions too, because i make mistakes also, i don't deny it, but clearly people who loves to trash titles doesn't have imdb pro, so this would protect people who really spends their time doing imdb contributions from people who just trash it, but it got ingored of course, you doesn't do western titles contributions who cares, fight your own fights

I think contributors should be evaluated with some kind of score that should be difficult to gain and easy to loose

@AlbertoMazarro​ totally agree and not those who uses bots, but people who does everything themselves, because if you think about it, it's contributors who makes imdb, not imdb staff, imagine one day no one does any contributions on any titles, imdb would be empty, imdb staff wouldn't go to do it, they wouldn't be able to spend this much time on it, how much we spend and they the ones who's getting paid. And it's kinda funny, because contributors are treated the least here. I don't say now, gives some kinda special rights for contributors, no. Just support them, because it's contributors who makes imdb, nobody else

Without diving into the details here, it appears there are people with other agendas involved in updating these titles which makes the situation extra tricky.  Hopefully the team can find a solution to better protect your contributions.
