In any event, go to the page of whichever Pam Hawk is you. Look at the credits there, and see if any of them were for titles where you were credited on screen as "Pam Hawk" instead of "Pamela Hawk". Then click "Edit page".
On the next screen, on the Name Merge line, select "Add merge". Scroll down and click "Continue".
On the next screen, there will be a blank line on which to enter your corrected name. Enter it as:
Hawk, Pamela
There will be a box labeled "Preserve previous name on existing credits. i.e. '(as Pam Hawk)'". This is very important.If you were ever credited as Pam Hawk on any of the titles associated with the page being merged, then make sure the box is checked. If you were never credited as Pam Hawk on any of those titles, uncheck the box.
There will also be an Explanation box. In that box, enter something like "I am Pamela Hawk, also known as Pam Hawk. My credits have been split between these pages and need to be merged. All of the credits on both pages are mine." Click "Check these updates".
On the next screen, if you unchecked the box, you will get a warning that says, "By unticking the box to preserve existing credits, you are implying they are incorrect. ..." If indeed you were never credited as Pam Hawk on those titles, check the box marked "Warning understood, go ahead anyway."
Also, in either case, you will get a warning that says, "You are about to merge two separate name pages into one. Are you sure you wish to merge this name page into the page for Hawk, Pamela? ..." That's what you want, so check the box marked "Warning understood, go ahead anyway."
Click "Re-check these updates".
On the next screen, your data will appear with a green background and you should be able to click "Submit these updates".
If both of the "Pam Hawk" pages areyou, then go to the other Pam Hawk page and repeat this process exactly.
Allow a few days for the merge(s) to be completed.
