I need to change the primary poster
Hello, I have four posters that are currently up and not able to edit due to them all being primary. I would like to delete two of them and make another image the primary.
I would like to delete: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11136716/mediaviewer/rm3338385153/
And replace it with: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11136716/mediaviewer/rm515507457/
I am unable to remove the first image and make the later the primary image. How do I go about doing the below:
- If the existing display poster is incorrect – you must request a new poster to replace the current image first. Submitting a request to delete the existing 'primary' poster, before the new one is live will result in your contribution being discarded.

The edit feature says, "The existing primary has been provided by a studio partner and is not editable."
If you are the studio partner, perhaps you can edit it through IMDb Scorecard. Otherwise wait for a reply from IMDb editors here.

Is there any way these two could be deleted? I don't see an option.

We won't remove images from the site, unless the image is breaching our Images guidelines.
You can request for an image removal, using the
option listed at the bottom of the image viewer.

Fran, I have requested the deletion and it was denied. Why is this the case when it is my project? Why am I not able to control my own project?

As Fran said, IMDb won’t delete older posters or images (they’re part of the history) just because someone don’t like them anymore. But you should be able to choose the primary poster.

Images are only removed when breaching our Images guidelines. In this case, as eboy mentioned, we won't delete the images for the provided reason.
