I have 617 (and counting) credits that I need deleted!

I worked for 1 day on a short promo for a celebrity gossip show, and IMDb is continuously crediting me for every single episode that's ever aired.  It's too many to many delete, and I don't want them to keep happening in the future.  I do not work on the show. I want it gone, please.

Hi mattykrab -

In order for our staff to take a look, please confirm the series title and the link to your IMDb page.

Cheers!

Hi Michelle,

The series is: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0247094/

My page is: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1433710/

I actually just found another link to email customer support (it's not incredibly obvious to find), so apologies if posting here was the wrong thing to do first.  Now it's in two places, I suppose.

Anyway, thanks in advance for the help!

@mattykrab Do you know which episode you were credited on screen? Or do you know if they still credit you? If you can access a few recent episodes you were added, like from season 28 or 27 and show that they do not actually credit you for years, that would help to convince staff to clean them I think and keep only one episode you were actually credited.

Zero episodes. I worked on a small promo for the show once. I’m not, nor do I want to be a part of it.

it’s crediting me for every episode they’ve aired as if I’m a regular crew member of the show.

Since someone who's not you added it and you say you really worked on it, I think you were likely credited on some (or one) episode(s) but blind duplication to that many episodes might be wrong. If you can learn that exact episode I think that may help staff.

Blind duplication is absolutely whats happening, but I never was a part of any episode.  It says "first assistant camera: intro sequence", so they must've used some shots in the beginning of every single episode, and on my page it looks as if I'm working on it full time.  I'm not sure who added me, but I'd very much like to be uncredited.  It's very misleading, and not a show I want to be named a part of.

Hi mattykrab-

Since you mentioned you did work on the show, at least for 1 episode I did leave 1 of the episodes in your filmography, it would be better if you found out for what specific episode it was, but for now it can stay as it is. We can't delete the show completely from your filmography as you confirmed you did work in it and it's our policy to not delete factual information. All the other were deleted as like @mbmb and you mentioned it is very possible that it was blind duplication. The change will show live on the site shortly.

Cheers!

I didn’t work on any episode, though. It was a small 1 day promo gig that had footage that ended up getting put into the intro I guess. I would really rather it not be credited at all if possible. I appreciate the help.
