Solved

I can´t fix an error on my profile page

Hi, i have an issue with my profile page, the credits order is not working properly, the order of departments is not in the right order.  My profile page show my credits in the sound department first, i have plenty of credits as colorist so it should appear as the first section, i have 4 credits in sound and over 20 in the color department (this used to be in the editorial dept). Also, only the sound dept section is open when you get to my profile page, the color section is closed.

The imdb help center says:

" " How do I change the order credits are displayed on an IMDb page?

Whenever a person's filmography is displayed, the order of the categories is based on the number of credits in each category. For example if someone has:

2 credits as director

5 credits as cinematographer

1 as producer

their listing will display in the order:

Cinematographer

Directing credits

Producing  " "

I can´t see the order displayed on the quoted text on my profile page, how can i fix my problem?

How can i make my profile site to follow the established rules that i found on the imdb help center?

Should i sent an email somewhere?

My profile is:

It's been a week and I haven't received a response. My profile keeps showing information in the wrong order.

Where can I send an email or talk to someone to resolve the situation? I posted here and the problem is still there.

@Hernan This has already been flagged to the appropriate team; the problem is a side effect of the recent new credit categories launch as announced at https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/imdbcom/introducing-new-credit-categories-and-professions/690a2e48297bb2308a6501e9 and it may take several weeks of effort, especially across the holiday season, sorry.  Some IMDb systems are still being updated to take account of the new credit categories.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for getting back to me with this update. I appreciate you flagging this to the appropriate team and providing the context regarding the new credit categories launch.

I understand the resolution take some time.

Thanks again for your help, and best wishes for the holiday period.

Hello, I have the same kind of issues:

  • 3 credits as second unit or assistant director: the most recent one is from 2018
  • 131 credits as Colourist: several of them get in 2025.

The logic and imdb rules should show the color department first, right ?

Guess what, it's the opposite.

Is there anybody who could fix this  please ?
