I am not listed as a cast member of a television episode I appeared in.
I appeared in an episode of a television show (in a speaking role) a few years ago. I was updating my resume and I checked IMDb and noticed my name does not appear in the cast list. How do I get myself added to the cast list? Do I need to pay for a subscription to IMDb in order to do so?

P: The first question I have is: Do you already have an IMDb name page with at least one other credit listed?
Second: Was your name shown in the on-screen credits of the TV episode you are referring to?
If the answer to both questions is "no", you may not be able to get yourself added until you have at least one job for which you received an on-screen credit.
But if the answer to either or both questions is "yes", you can get yourself added to the episode list on IMDb without difficulty. You don't need to pay for an IMDb subscription to deal with this. A regular (free) IMDb user registration should be enough to accomplish what you need.
If you would like full details about how to get this credit added, please provide full details, including the link to your IMDb name page, the link to the episode's page on IMDb, and what role you played on the episode.
Good luck!

Paul: Here is how to submit your credit.
Go to the page for the episode at https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5130244/ . Click "Edit page".
On the next screen, on the Cast line, select "Add 1 credit". Scroll down and click "Continue".
On the next screen, there will be a Name box in which to enter your name. Enter it as:
Amodeo, Paul
If a drop-down box appears where one of the choices identifies you as Paul Amodeo, Actor, Blue Bloods (2010), you can click that choice, although it doesn't make a difference if you don't.
To the right, there will be a Character box. Enter the name of the character you played in this episode. Since "Do Not Disturb: Hotel Horrors" is a documentary with reenactments, you will need to enter a character name unless you were appearing as yourself. (Anyone without a character name would have this episode appear as a Self role for them, not an Actor/Actress role.)
You will probably need to leave the Attribute and Order boxes blank because you don't have access to the episode credits but you assume that you were listed in them.
Click "Check these updates". Your data should then appear with a green background. If so, you can click "Submit these updates".
Allow a few days for your credit to be processed. Good luck!

Hello paulamodeo1,
In addition to what gromit82 has mentioned, I encourage you to take a look at our Help guides with instructions and details on how to add evidence for your submission for our editors to be able to validate your credit.
