how to submit an obituary

My friend, Patrick Chevillot, has a bio on the site and he has died. I would like to post his obituary or revise his Biography page to include a death notice. How do I do this? Thanks.

But you need to provide a source or attach an evidence in the "Explanation" field. Is there a link for it?

You can provide both a free text comment and applicable links, or just include the links without an explanation (though an explanation is usually helpful to our editors), here is a typical example:

Also note that IMDb’s biography section is not ”obituary” per se, so it’s best to provide a longer biography (with some info of the passing of a person etc). The point is that obituary itself is a different piece of writing than ”neutral” biography.

With "has a bio on the site" and "Biography page" the OP clearly refers a "name page", not the biography data item itself, he's just not familiar with the IMDb's terms. And by saying "revise his Biography page to include a death notice", he's trying to say how the death can be indicated on that name page (he uses Biography page term for a name page, because he's not familiar with IMDb's terms), he's not actually trying to say he wants to post an obit to biography data item when you read "Biography page" as "name page".

The point is all he wanted to do is add a death date to the "name page", it seems that was done successfully now looking at the name page.
