How to omit marriage information that is no longer correct?

I am part of a client's representation team and am trying to change information on their profile they no longer want public, as it's no longer accurate. I am trying to omit a relationship under marriage information that is no longer accurate and these two people are no longer together. This client wants that information completely removed because of this. I've tried several times through editing-- first to remove, and then at the advice of Customer Service, submitted a correction that I never received a reply or update for. At a loss for how to move forward here.
