How to delete article in the 'NEWS' section on my profile??

Hi to all!

Someone or maybe I,  shared an NEWS article on my page and I don't know how to delete it.  What are the steps to remove (and possibly add)?   This 'NEWS' category is near the bottom of my IMDb page or as an quick link on the top of IMDbPro page via desktop icon.

Thanks for your help

Hi @DGOOD -

Can we know why you need them deleted?

Thanks!

I’m trying to understand why only that article on my page or how it was added on my page.

@DGOOD Hi! Articles from our newsfeed automatically tag name and title pages, if it's in the external sites area any contributor can add articles related to you.

Cheers!

Hi @DGOOD -

News items are linked automatically based on the names/titles featured in the text of the article.  So if there is a news article listed under the News section of your IMDb page, this means that your name was referenced within an article.

If your name is referenced, we will not remove the article from your page unless there is an error (e.g. the wrong person with the same name was linked).  If a news item on IMDb/IMDbPro mentions your name but it's not linked from your page, please provide the exact link (permalink) to the article on IMDb/IMDbPro so we can attempt to link it manually.  To do so we need the link to the article within our news system e.g. http://www.imdb.com/news/niXXXXXXXX (where XXXXXXXX is a number).

I hope this helps, let us know if you have any further questions!
