How to delete a bogus title (or titles)

I think that someone added the film "Fireman Save my Trolley" (1916) as a prank and even created a fake title card. The title card looks like it was created with Photoshop. A search of the Media Digital History Library of hundreds of vintage trade magazines does not find any mention of this title. A search of newspapers.com does not list any mentions of this title.  All of the cast members on the title card image except "Heinie" Conklin barely have other credits and the other film that they are alleged to appear in seem to be bogus also. Notice that "Manfred Lungsworthy" was entered into the database as "Manfred "Lungsworth". Edward Kranks is actually a character name in the Disney/Pixar movie "Cars". It sure looks like "Round 'n' Round", the only other credit for Kranks is a fake title. If you Google the other actors on the title card image except Heine you won't find any films known to have been released.

Hello silentfilm,

You can submit the title deletion using our online Update Form, you can find help and instructions in our Help Articles.

Although this help page says,

Near the bottom of the following page, find the Title Deletion option located under "Other Corrections"

It is not there on my screen. I only see "Title Correction" and "Cast/Crew Verification". And "Edwin Kranks"'s other film "Round 'n' Round" also appears to be a fake title.

As mentioned in the help guide:

Certain titles will not display a "Title Deletion" option. These titles have been identified as of general public interest

Can you provide us with the link for the Titles you would like us to take a look at?

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt25809366/reference/- Everybody in the main cast seems to be fake people except "Heinie" Conklin, Gale Henry and Billy Franey. A fake title card says "Manfred Lugsworthy" but the IMDB entry says "Manfred Lugsworth". There is no mention of either name in movie trade journals of the 1910s and 1920s.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt25784360/reference/- Everybody in the cast seems to be fake people.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt24327840/reference/ - This one has a fake title card that is misspelled. Everybody in the cast except Billy Franey seems to be a fake person.

You can search vintage trade magazines at https://lantern.mediahist.org/catalog and you won't find these titles or these fake people.

I'm a film historian and memorabilia collector, and a fellow collector pointed these fake credits out to me but didn't know how to get them corrected. My website is https://www.silentfilmstillarchive.com, so I am very familiar with films from the 1910s.
