The Georgia Short is now in active pre-production under a revised timeline and creative team. After our original financing fell through, the project was paused and has since been rebuilt from the ground up, including a completely new script written solely by me, James P. Axiotis; all previously listed writers should be removed. The cast has also changed, so any prior cast credits, including the performer listed as ‘Sophia,’ should be deleted, and an updated cast list will be supplied once contracts are finalized. Principal photography is now planned for February 2026, with festival submissions and first public exhibition targeted for May–June 2026, so the title year and release date should be updated to 2026.
