How to add a genre to a TV mini series?

I've tried to add a genre to the page of a TV mini series, but my contribution got declined. It says "Does not meet contribution guidelines." I even added some media article links and quotes to my contribution to verify the genre information. What else do I need to provide?

Hello MrFilmJunkie,

Can you post the 18-digits submission reference number? in order to take a look for you!

You can find the submission number on your Contribution History page.

@MrFilmJunkie Hey!

This was not accepted based on the rule "If the title does not conform to the 'virtually all scenes' guideline then please do not add the comedy genre". In this case what proceeds is to add the keywords mentioned on our guidelines.

If you consider all scenes on title "Pam & Tommy" are characters engaged in humorous or comedic experiences please let us know I can re-evaluate.

Cheers!

@Bethanny Thanks for clearing that up! Currently, the show's genres are "Biography", "Drama" and "Romance".
I can't confirm that all scenes are characters engaged in humorous or comedic experiences, but there's a comedic undertone throughout most of the scenes, ranging from dramedy to downright slapstick and satire. Real events and characters are fictionalized in a more or less humorous way.
"Romance", on the other hand, makes up only a small part of the entire show.

@Bethanny Hey, I happened to watch a movie that is listed as "Comedy", even though it doesn't conform to the 'virtually all scenes' guideline at all (there's even less comedy in it than in "Pam & Tommy"). So I added keywords (which have been approved) and submitted a deletion of the "Comedy" genre, citing the guidlines - but that has been declined with "Does not meet contribution guidelines". How's that possible? The contribution in question has the reference number 230209-215917-361000

@MrFilmJunkie In this case we do believe it is a Comedy movie, hence it was not deleted and will not be.

In other matters, I had been researching a little for Pam & Tommy though and since we describe this genre in a Subjective way, I have decided to resubmit that one on your behalf and approve, I think it qualifies as comedy more than I thought :)

Cheers!
