How to add a Chinese in-production title?

I have been attempting to create a new in-production title for a film I worked on as a co-writer. The film, however, is in Chinese and is being shot in China by a Chinese production company, and subsequently all of the potential third-party links to substantiate the film being in production are Chinese.

Is there another way I can verify the authenticity of the film and its in-production status? Copies of my contract with William Morris Endeavor and the Chinese production company? I also have hundreds of production stills I took of sets under construction, location scouting, etc. It's a for-real production with a large budget, it's just Chinese.

If all your third-party links are in Chinese, submit the Chinese links. Just put (Chinese) at the end of the description of each link.

If your third-party links are good ones, you should be able to get the title listed. If nothing else, the IMDb staff can always run your Chinese sources through Google Translate.

Good luck!

Hi Gromit82 - Thanks for the swift advice. Another problem is that I myself can't find any Chinese links because I can't read Mandarin. I co-wrote the script in English and then the Chinese production company had it translated.

Perhaps you could have a word with the production company and see if they can help you out. Or they might want to add the information themselves - production companies often task an intern to the job and they'll be able to ensure all the Chinese names are right, along with the correct transliterations from Chinese.

However, there are sites like Twitch, that keep a close eye on foreign films, so it might be they'll pick up the news and run it in English. You could always drop them a line to help the process ;)

Unfortunately, if that doesn't work then it might just be you'll have to wait.
