How to access IMDB's data set

Hello,

Grad student here wanting to do a paper that shows relationships between on screen violence and audience scores. Was wondering how to access IMDb's data set and saw in their terms of use that I had to use their data set, that I couldn't brute force the information off their site. This must mean that they have an accessible data set that I could use right? I saw that the data page says I have to be a contributor... and I do love the hell out of movies so, if need be, I can contribute... but I'd rather not. Really just want access to their data.
