How Does Reporting Trivia Work?

So, I reported a trivia on Terrifier 3 for not being relevant. It was literally just 'SPOILER: The story picks up five years after Terrifier 2 (2022)'.

Then for some reason my report got declined for being a duplicate?? Can someone please explain how this works, because the email said my *contribution*  was the exact same as another submission. I'm pretty sure they didn't make it so multiple people can't report for the same thing, so can you explain why this report was declined because I feel like it is definitely not trivia, just a plot point.
