How Do You Request the Deletion of an Obviously Erroneous Entry from an Actor's Filmography?
There appears to be no way to request the deletion of an erroneous entry from an actor's filmography. There are places to request deletions for actors within a particular cast list, but I see no place to request the removal of an entry that is non-existent. Here is the current example I'm concerned about:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt12432806/?ref_=nm_flmg_t_25_act
This item, "The Essanay Comedies", is here entered as a 1918 film featuring Charlie Chaplin. But it isn't a film at all, but a modern DVD collection of the Essanay comedies. There were of course many individual Essanay Comedies (though they were from 1915, not 1918), but there was no film (in 1918 or any other year) called "The Essanay Comedies".
This entry should be deleted, obviously -- which would automatically reduce Chaplin's "Actor" total from 94 to 93 -- but the more general question is: How does one propose deleting a supposed film entirely from the database? And for that matter, how does one propose entering an entirely new film to the database? If instructions already exist for these things, please point me to the page where they are given. And if such instructions aren't given, they should be.
Could someone with executive authority see to deleting this false Chaplin "film" entirely, and could someone answer my questions above?
