How do you report misinformation on an actor's page?

James McAvoy is listed as playing "Steve" on Shameless. This is incorrect information

There's no need to be rude.  They were obviously unaware there was a British original of the series.

@Karen  Thank you. I did not know there was a British original. That's much more useful information than telling me I live in a cave.

It's not misinformation. Shameless (TV Series 2004–2013) - James McAvoy as Steve - IMDb

I suspect you live in a cave like most Americans.

99% of North Americans are clueless to most things outside of the USA and Canada, especially when it comes to popular British films and TV shows.

I'm always seeing North Americans being surprised to hear and find out about people, places and things which most of the world already knew, as the rest of us don't live in a bubble.

You even get American producers remaking their own British shows for American companies like Amazon, not knowing which network the British original was on, so they constantly credit a completely different British network, which practically every American journalist regurgitated in their articles about the recent remake without question.

North Americans are easily the worst for spreading misinformation.

@daniel_francis_gardecki  We do not get British television here so it's not hard to imagine why we wouldn't know what shows are on there.

@sasoif I've just noticed that the same American creator/writer/producer who I left unnamed above, is the person who remade another British show as an American film, where again she constantly credited and incorrect network for the original repeatedly in interviews. And will soon be remaking another film.

What is the network she keeps crediting incorrectly? The BBC, just like most Americans.

What networks do the two shows actually belong to? Channel 4 and ITV.
