How do you "really" delete a review?
The IMDb faqs says that to delete a review, you have to wait till it goes live. Then you can go into your contribution history and delete it. However, on the contribution history page, it says that deleting the review will only delete its listing on the contribution page. Does this mean that there is no way to delete a review from appearing on IMDb?

You need to find the review and use Report Delete button to delete it. Edit: Yeah, it becomes Delete button for your own reviews, it opens kinda same interface tho.

I just found that there is a "delete" option when you check your own live review.

So I find the "live" review and click "report." Okay. Doesn't sound very intuitive to me, since I always think of the "report" button as a way to report inappropriate content. But I'll try it if the need arises, thanks.

@whatever99 To delete a review which you have written, please see https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/contribution-information/how-do-i-edit-or-remove-a-review/G6Q9LAZC72JMLDQB -- the exact process varies by platform. The instructions above provided by @mbmb concern how to report a review written by another customer. Please can you let us know where you saw the misleading information on review deletion via the contribution history page and we will get it updated.
