How do I remove a film credit from our page/credits?

A film is listed in our credits and "what we're known for" when we have nothing whatsoever to do with the film.  The film is at this link > https://pro-labs.imdb.com/title/tt0088195/?ref_=nm_filmo_pastfilmvid_6

Considering what you wrote, I can only assume that your name (or, as you described, a group) is listed in the credits of the title and may need to be moved to a new page if there happens to be a person or a group with the same or similar name.

If you can post the URL of the name page this title is attached to, a contributor or an IMDb representative may suggest a specific answer to your request.

Hi TarockMusic -

If you are still experiencing problems with the incorrect credit, please let us know and provide the additional information requested above by GMJ above and we will be happy to take a look.

Hi Michelle! Could you please remove the credit for Clockwork film from my page? The director is a scam and I don't want to have anything to do with it.

Thank you!

I have been going around in circles between Get Satisfaction and IMDb Help Desk since last week.

CMJ above, thinks I want a credit moved to a new page.  I don't need the credits in question moved to a new page. I want the two credits deleted from our credits.

Below is my December 16th reply to Cariad who somehow thought I was trying to change our company name!!

I hope you can finally resolve this, Michelle.  Thanks.

Hi Cariad:

I'm not trying to change the name to a company.  The photo for the page says TarockMusic.com, but the photo size changed and it can no longer be read, so I just wanted Tarock Music to show on the page somewhere, but that's not the issue, so disregard it.

Yes, The Reds is a band, and all of the credits on the page are for The Reds, or for solo projects by two band members, Rick Shaffer and Bruce Cohen  So all their band and solo credits are correct, and should all be on the same page.

The problem I'm contacting you about is the two film credits below are listed in our Filmography, but have nothing to do with us.

(1) SCHOOL SPIRIT > https://pro-labs.imdb.com/title/tt0089974/?ref_=nm_filmo_pastfilmvid_5

(2) STREETWALKIN' > https://pro-labs.imdb.com/title/tt0088195/?ref_=nm_filmo_pastfilmvid_6

We did not add these two films to our credits, and when I edit the Filmography I'm unable to remove them, which is why I'm requesting you to remove them.

Thanks.

Theresa: Soundtrack credits cannot be edited by starting from a name page (name pages are usually for individuals, but also include name pages for bands such as The Reds at http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3186809/). You can only edit Soundtrack credits by starting from the page for the film or television show.

Without having seen the two films in question, my assumption would be that there were songs in those films that were performed by a different band also called The Reds. If you have looked at the credits for School Spirit or Streetwalkin' and seen something else listed in the soundtrack listings of the films' credits, then please let us know, but otherwise you should assume that it was a different band called The Reds.

When you submit a correction to the Soundtrack credits of one of these films, you would change the credit from its current listing, which will look like something this:

"Doin' Those Things You Do"
Written by Keith Pittell
Performed by [link=nm3186809]

to

"Doin' Those Things You Do"
Written by Keith Pittell
Performed by The Reds

For each credit you change, check the box marked "provide an explanation to assist in processing this change".

For the explanation, enter something like "I am the manager of the band The Reds, nm3186809. The Reds who are listed at nm3186809 did not perform this song. The song was performed by a different band named The Reds who are not listed in IMDb. Therefore, this credit should not be linked to the filmography of The Reds at nm3186809."

I hope this helps. Good luck!
