How do I post a trailer? IMDb only allows me to label it a Demo Reel, which it isn't.

Imdb's dropdown menu only allows me to select "demo reel" even though this is a trailer. It is my most current work, but because I am forced to call it a demo reel, it is deprioritized by you.

Why do you charge me for a subscription and then provide ZERO human customer service? What exactly am I paying for? Where is my money going, since the other half of your business is ad supported? Message boards and forums are NOT SERVICE.

Hi John, you can always email in to our message system.  We have a help page that explains how to add a video directly to a page. You can find the video link you added to the title page under the "external links" section of the title.

I've uploaded an MPAA approved trailer to the Movie's page and it hasn't appeared. When and if it does, will it automatically populate on my Pro Name page? I apologize for impugning your humanity, but that is clearly what it took for me to get attention. I have posted questions on this message board repeatedly and have never received a response. I have been trying to get the page for my feature properly populated for a year and multiple members of my production staff have reached out to you guys repeatedly. You are the sole responder.

That request was an error on my part. I was trying to edit a mistake and had no idea how. I must have hit the wrong button accidentally

I've read this. THAT is the problem I'm trying to get you to address. You have set demo reels as the last priority, but you also won't allow me to designate uploaded videos as anything but a demo reel.

I uploaded the trailer to my movie which will be released next month but it would not appear as the primary video. That's when I saw that it was appearing as a demo reel, not a trailer. So I deleted the video and re-uploaded... but now I see that your drop down menu only allows me to select demo reel, regardless of what the video actually is. So anything I add to my page will be de-prioritized and added to the bottom of the list.

I've also been trying for over 5 years to get you guys to delete a video that is on my page and shouldn't be but nobody has helped me. So, no, it wasn't "an Emily." You've given me no reason to believe you were human until now. And now I'm just worried that, despite being human, you'll continue to do nothing to help me.

For instance, if you scroll back up, I have already explained this issue and your helpful response was to post an article that explains the problem but offers no solution. Are you aware that some companies will actually take steps to help you with an account, even via remote? Getting an article that *might* explain steps that I can take on my own ISN'T actually a service.

Prove to me that you're human by having some empathy, please.

This doesn't help. No matter how I submit my MPAA-approved trailer to the Movie page, it doesn't appear as the newest trailer (and therefore the primary video) on my Professional page. And if I upload the trailer to my Professional page I am forced to call it a Demo Reel, which means it shows up at the bottom and is STILL not my primary video.

I hate the fact that nobody at IMDb can actually help. You guys just send links to articles, often that don't provide helpful information. IMDb is a critical tool for independent filmmakers. We're willing to pay whatever subscription we must to get the information. Please have empathy. It is nerve-wracking to place so much trust in you for the way our material and resumé is presented. The fact that you cannot or will not offer more assistance than you do is insulting.

Not sure if this would help, but I remember adding trailer of a couple of movie entries I added here in IMDB. The option appeared when I started to create the file from the start. And it worked well.
