Solved

How do I get my 21 amazing years of voice over/announcer credits added to my IMDb page?

I have been the live announcer for The Annie Awards for 21 years. Since 2005, the Annie Awards 22nd awards show, I have been their live announcer and now, announcer/host. It has been a voice over job where I sometimes appear on camera. They have branded me "The Official Voice of the Annies." They plan to have me back for next year and hopefully many more years to come. These are credits I am very proud of and known for around the world. Please help me add them to my data base page.

Dina: I see that you have already been listed for 50th Annie Awards (2023) (TV) at https://www.imdb.com/title/tt26920792/.

For each of the other awards shows you worked on as an announcer, you will have to go to the page for that show, click "Edit page", and submit your name by adding a credit to the "Self" section.

As an aside, though, none of the Annie Awards shows I have checked indicate what company broadcast the awards. If they were broadcast on YouTube, then YouTube should be listed as a Distributor credit on those shows.

@gromit82 Thank you! I just submitted the request for the 50th yesterday. Glad it got approved!

The show is streamed, but not on a regular streaming platform, like YouTube.

Isn't there an easier way to make it one credit with multiple years? I have announced for 21 years and not all years were listed as options. Since it is an annual event, it would be nice to have it listed as such and continue for as long as I am the official voice. Isn't that how an animated or tv series works?

@DinaSherman Annual award shows are not classified by IMDb as TV series. Each of them is treated as a separate TV special. Examples: The 68th Annual Grammy Awards (2026) (TV), The 67th Annual Grammy Awards (2025) (TV), The 66th Annual Grammy Awards (2024) (TV), and so on.

Please note that if there was a time in the past when the Annie Awards were not broadcast or streamed anywhere and were only presented live in an auditorium, those years' award ceremonies would not be eligible for listing in IMDb as TV programs.
