How do I enter the symbol 'pi' in a trivia submission?

I am trying to enter the symbol pi (π) into a trivia entry by using the HTML sequence 'π'. The pre-edit is rejecting it as 'not supported'. Is there another way to insert the symbol for pi?

Note: The second occurrence of the pi symbol (in parentheses) should have appeared as '(ampersand)pi;'. For some reason the processor did a double-conversion, and generated a pi symbol instead.

Hi james_johnston_4d5h8woi6a7ga -

I don't believe the pi symbol is supported, however, you mentioned that a pi symbol was generated?  If so can you post the link to the IMDb page where the trivia item is displaying the symbol?

@Michelle The text processor for trivia items apparently does not support the 'pi' symbol, at least, that's what the error message indicates (but it is obviously supported in this comment system). There is nowhere in any trivia/goof/etc. area that I have seen the 'pi' symbol. What I was referring to in my follow-up post is that the second 'pi' symbol in my original post should have appeared as '(ampersand)pi;' - which is one way to have the HTML processor in a browser generate the 'pi' symbol. The sequence I entered that generated the second 'pi' symbol in the original post was '(ampersand)amp;pi;' - which should have  generated a sequence that appeared as '(ampersand)pi;' - but that apparently gets processed twice, and ends up generating the actual 'pi' symbol. Sorry about the confusion. Is there any plan for supporting the 'pi' symbol in the future?
