How do I delete and change the poster for a film?

Hi, I'm trying to change the poster for a film I made. I'd also like to delete certain stills. How do I go about doing this?

Hello at0605,

You can submit a request to IMDb to remove an image by using the  option listed at the bottom of the image viewer.

From here, provide a reason for the removal along with any comments to help a member of the team review the request. More information can be found on our Images guidelines

Hi there,

I placed the request but was rejected. Not sure why as they added the poster I wanted but wouldn't change the actual lead poster.

Could you help me out?

@at0605 Hi!

To change the poster do not report’ the existing 'primary' poster – this image will automatically reorganize into the gallery as a non-primary poster.

Please follow our guideline to update posters instead.

Cheers!

Hi there, my new poster (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11136716/mediaviewer/rm515507457/) still hasn't been made the primary. Also, the previous poster I'd like deleted (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11136716/mediaviewer/rm3338385153/) is still there.

Can you help me resolve this issue?

@at0605

If you have previously used IMDb Scorecard to add a poster you need to use it to change the poster too:

I have never used nor do I know anything about Scorecard. I uploaded the photos on the title page. How should I proceed? @Bethanny

@at0605 So sorry for the late reply, currently working through a backlog, I see correct poster has now been set, regarding the other poster we don't delete old posters, as a database, we prefer to preserve them.

Cheers!
