How do I create a page for a film festival?
I see pages for other film festivals, but I only see an entry page for 'Add a New Title.' A festival isn't a 'title', and I don't see festivals listed as eligible listing types.
The festival I'd like to list is the Thomas Edison Film Festival (formerly known as the Black Maria Film Festival), which has been around over 35 years. I'm a Board member, acting on behalf of Executive Director Jane Steuerwald.

Joel: This is probably going to require the intervention of the IMDb staff to get done, but I would like to clarify the situation.
1. This festival appears to be the same one that is currently listed as "Black Maria Film and Video Festival" at https://www.imdb.com/event/ev0000102/overview/ and is still an awards-giving event, right? (Film festivals are listed at IMDb as awards events; if the event doesn't give any awards, it's not listed as a separate entry in IMDb.)
2. In what year did the name change from "Black Maria" to "Thomas Edison" take place?
3. Do you want all the past winners from the "Black Maria" era to continue to be listed as "Black Maria" winners, or do you want them to be listed as "Thomas Edison" winners (i.e. making the name retroactive)? I don't know if the IMDb will necessarily put your preference into effect, but they might.

Apologies for the delayed reply and an updated information on this issue. We are working through a backlog of threads.
I have updated the name of this film festival and on the Event overview a note has been added to it. The changes are already live on the site Thomas Edison Film Festival.
