How do I add my documentary feature film to my list of credits. I am not a pro user and haven't updated since 2006!

IMDB doesn't recognize a list of credits I have gathered over the past decade.  Is this because my account has been dormant for so long and I don't have pro?

Kelly: You don't need IMDbPro to add any credits (other than for titles which are still in development and have not been filmed yet). For films which have already been released or at least filmed or even in pre-production, a free registration is all you need to submit credits.

However, IMDb is primarily a title-based database. This means that IMDb is oriented toward submitting a film to the database and including the people who worked on it, rather than submitting a person to the database and including all the films they worked on.

If the film you worked on is not in the database, you can, and should, submit it as a new title entry. The form for this begins at https://contribute.imdb.com/updates?update=title and continues on succeeding screens. As part of the process, you will be expected to provide the names of some of the people who worked on the film (and will have the opportunity to provide more names beyond that), including yourself.

If you haven't submitted a new title to IMDb before, the process may look difficult, but it gets easier as you go along. Please feel free to come back here and ask if you have specific questions during the submission process.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

@gromit82. Thanks so much!  I have accumulated a bit of work since 2006, most of which I have produced and haven't had luck updating so I appreciate the guidance. Kelly
