How do I add a legal rep to a company listing?

I can find no way to add our attorney/legal rep (an individual listed in IMDb/Pro) to our company page as a contact. None of the explanations I can find online work. I have no choice to add "Representation" anywhere on the "Edit Company" page. None of the "Affiliations" are appropriate. "Client of" doesn't allow individuals, and I'm not sure whether it puts our company as the client or the provider.

I don't know why IMDb makes so many simple things so wonky.

Hi CDJ,

To add an employee to a company page on IMDbPro, please follow the instructions in the employment section of our Help guide.

I hope this helps! If you have any issues going forward, please let us know and we can provide further support.

Cheers!

@Ozzy He's not an employee of the company. Does IMDb really not have a way to distinguish this? Why does the "Client of" affiliation not allow the possibility of linking to an individual, whether that person is an attorney, publicist, or other profession?

Hi @CDJ,

In that case, it is possible to add an individual (such as a legal representative) as a Client to the Contact Details section of a company on IMDbPro. Please see the screenshot below for reference.

I hope this helps!

@Ozzy The problem with this is that the company's attorney is not a client of the company—and doing what you say makes it look like he is, or, in other words, that the company is the legal representative of the attorney.

The easy fix here would be to allow an individual to be listed in a "Client of" line under "Affiliations", as I mentioned above. Nothing else correctly and appropriately shows the relationship. But for some reason, IMDb doesn't have that option.
