How can I add photos to an actors imdb page?

IMDb will not allow you to upload the images without an IMDb Pro account. IMDb Pro is a paid subscription. Even with an IMDb Pro account you would only be able to upload the images for one person credit page. If that page is already assigned to another IMDb Pro account, you would not be able to access that page.

Another possibility would be for you to contact IMDb licensing and license your images to IMDb for a token amount or for free.

You should contact the IMDb help desk regarding this issue.

Provide information on which images you have, your contact information and substantiation that you exclusively own the copyright to the images. There is a significant backlog for contacting IMDb via this form. You will receive an email acknowledging your request, but you may not receive a reply from the IMDb help desk for a week or two.

Photos on Actors' IMDb pages come from three sources:


1. The studios or producers that made the films the photos are from.
2. Agencies that represent the photographers who shot the photos.
3. Submissions from people in the database or their legal representatives.

Since you don't represent the actor's, you aren't eligible to upload images to their name pages, however, if you have these images on your own web site, we *do* catalog links to photos around the web (example: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0004754/photosites ) as part of the information we index about people and titles in the database. Please check out our Help section (http://www.imdb.com/help/?adding/) on adding and correcting data for information on how to submit the link. Due to legal restrictions, we cannot publish your photos on our site, but linking to an HTML page on *your* web site from our "external links" section is possible.

While I am not the photographer, I do have legal rights to distribute the photos in question.
