We removed the unverified credit data, however, will retain the name page listing, as it has been claimed by an active IMDbPro member.

@Michelle​ Thanks for the response, but to me, allowing people to BUY their way into IMDb when other people (the real talent) have actually worked to EARN their way into IMDb hardly seems respectful to the people in showbiz.

Apart from that, from a contributors and customer point of view: this can create confusion and false information, as evidenced by this and a great deal of other threads.

It just seems extremely weird to me that IMDb allows a person an IMDb page, even after IMDb itself has concluded a person has willingly added false information to the database and there are no real credits for this person. But as long as they give money to IMDb, IMDb doesn't care about this.
