I have remembered we came 'runner up' for To Catch a Crow and not simply 'in competition' but that's not much use if I can't find any links online. I will try to find more.

The Kodak BAFTA European Short Film Showcase was an event that ran as part of the Cannes Film Market during the Cannes Film Festival. I honestly cannot remember if it lasted more than one or three years. I do remember that To Catch a Crow was in competition. It was a way for BAFTA to showcase talent and it was sponsored by Kodak. I am looking through my emails to try and find it.

Hi Maya. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to get to this. I have submitted three event forms by email to you guys. Please let me know if you need anything else. I think the Kodak BAFTA European Short Film Showcase Cannes will be hard to 'prove', but it did exist.

Hi Malagaaunike. Thank you so much for looking into this for me. Unfortunately its not so helpful. This event was very much a sponsorship opportunity for Kodak and part of the market (rather than the festival). It was a way of showcasing British shorts that didn't make it into Cannes. Also, it started in 2000 and ended (I think) in 2003.
