"Helpful" Review button, does it work?

Hi,

I noticed that when i click on one of the "Was this review helpful?" buttons ("Yes" or "No"), it tells me "Your vote will be counted and appear on this site shortly.".

But it never does appear! I can always come back to the reviews section and the "Yes/No" buttons are still there, and the number of votes is still the same.

Do those buttons work at all?

Hi Changuitos -

Can you confirm that you are logged into your IMDb account when clicking the "Was this review helpful?" button?

If you are certain that you are logged into your IMDb account and you have clicked the button but no change is made, please let us know and confirm both the links to the title, the title of the review, and your IMDb activity page link.

Once we have these additional details our staff can then investigate further.

I have voted many many times in many films and seen this behaviour.

Regarding your questions:

1- Am i logged in? Of course, you don't even get the option to vote if you are not.

I have the same problem right now. I am logged in (of course) but my vote isn't included in the total +although a line shows that I have found the review "helpful" (or not). I distinctly remember that feature to be working in the past. We hat's going on here?

I'm just following up on this older issue, based on the ticket I can confirm that the voting does not always show immediately and can take time to display, which may have been the cause of the issue initially reported here. If this is still an ongoing issue, let us know and we can revisit with our tech team.
