Help with a name merge

Fran. Tried to merge my wife’s maiden name that was credited on those films as Lisa Gubkin but on new project as producer. It’s now Lisa Liebman II It was merged before but when I wanted to add her credits were under Gubkin except for the new film. It made her a new page again with the old credits.

Jliebman: I see that the pages you are dealing with are: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm17817958/ - Lisa Gubkin (under her maiden name) https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1118265/ - Lisa Liebman (II) (under her married name) I also see that the credits on the Lisa Gubkin page all have an attribute of (as Lisa Liebman) which appears to be incorrect, as they are from 2001 and 2002, and according to the Lisa Liebman (II) page, you and she did not get married until 2005. Assuming that all the credits on both pages are hers and I have the above information correct, here is how to solve the problem. Go to the Lisa Gubkin page at https://www.imdb.com/name/nm17817958/ . Click "Edit page". On the next screen, on the Name Merge line, select "Add merge". Click "Continue". On the next screen, there will be a blank line on which to enter her corrected name. Enter it as: Liebman, Lisa (II) (Note that the roman numeral II has to be in parentheses.) There will be a checkbox labeled "Preserve previous name on existing credits. i.e. '(as Lisa Gubkin)'". Make sure that box is checked. Since she did some of her work under the name Lisa Gubkin, you want to make sure that attribute is there. In the Explanation box, enter something like this: "Lisa Gubkin and Lisa Liebman (II) are the same person, with Gubkin being her maiden name and Liebman being her married name. All the credits on both pages belong to her, and she currently works under the name Lisa Liebman. I am her husband." Click "Check these updates". On the next screen, you will get a warning that says, "You are about to merge two separate name pages into one. Are you sure you wish to merge this name page into the page for Liebman, Lisa (II)? ..." That's what you want, so check the box marked "Warning understood, go ahead anyway." Click "Re-check these updates". On the next screen, your data should appear with a green background, and you should be able to click "Submit these updates". Allow a few days for the merge to be completed and the credits to be moved over to her other page. If there are still problems one week after you have submitted the correction, you can come back here and ask about how to resolve them. Good luck!

Originally I went on and said to just credit the liebman page as Gubkin for the two films. Then it created another page and I went on to merge them and it warned me there was no lisa Gubkin. So now I had gone back on to merge the Gubkin into liebman but nothing got changed. Yes married Oct 2005. So I’ll try to merge it again. If her name Gubkin doesn’t come up I’ll leave it alone. That’s why I changed it to be credited on her maiden name for the two films. Thanks for the info.

Can you help as it didn't work for me, it went back to alternative name as Liebman and not Gubkin. Even if the alternative name went to gubkin without showing the original credited names for the older films.

@Jliebman10- Hi, In order to understand, you are trying to add the (as...) attribute of (as Lisa Gubkin) to the credits from 2001 and 2005?

Yes, The two older films were credited as Lisa Gubkin, and it's listed as other name Lisa liebman, but that should be other name as her maiden name before we were married in 2005. The two new films are under her marroed name
