Heimat - mini-series title exists twice with all its episodes

The first has 3 seasons and the third season is in fact the other title I listed. Is it still accurate to depict the entire thing as a mini series if there was a gap of 8 (between seasons 1 and 2) or even 12 (between seasons 2 and 3) years between the production? If so, then tt0312142/ needs to be merged with tt0087400/ I think season 2 existed on its own at some point as well on imdb, but that one already got merged. And is it still a "mini-series" this way with 3 seasons over such a long time or should it be categorized as a "series"?

It seems to me that these should be listed as separate series in the same way as we list "This is England".

I've cut a ticket to clean this up and split out season 2 to a new title page. We'll let you know once this has been completed.

On a side-note, I already wrote in my opening post that season 2 existed as a separate title as well at some point and had probably around 1,000 votes on it before it got merged. Is there any way to bring these back or will it start at zero again?

Please accept my apologies in the delay in getting this resolved for you.
We have now taken the appropriate actions;
Each has its own title page with the relevant episodes attached

3-http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0312142/
We have also transferred the relevant user reviews from what was the combined title page however we are unable to recover the votes that were on the split out second series within our tools, I have taken internal measures to prevent these from being merged again.
