Hate to bother you guys again re completion dates...
Many thanks for your insights and clarifications of the different dates used for films. I sort of figured it out, but after recent updates to the project, I'm still not quite clear.
In July 2019, I completed a 1080P version of a Downsizing of the Gods, which was accepted for a screening at the Portugal international Film Festival. On the way to Stansted, Ryanair canceled my flight! There were no other flights available, and the screening itself was canceled.
As the film’s climax has great deal more resonance with the festivities currently going on at Disney atm than it did in 2019, in December 2023, I made a few editorial tweaks to the film and trailer, created an entirely new intro and redid all the marketing materials
In February of 2024, I had the 1080p versions of the film and trailer enhanced and uprezzed to 4K via Topaz.
In order to submit to festivals, can I legitimately claim that the actual completion date is now February 2024 rather IMB date of 2019?
Or add some sort of caveat that the 4K version is substantially different from the 1080p one?
Many thanks.

@tamasher Yes, since the previous edit of the film was not shown anywhere in public in 2019, the above is all okay.
