Had Enough
I have sent this email to IMDb support and they suggested I post it here. I am writing because I've been extremely annoyed and frustrated contributing to IMDb recently. So much so that I'm considering leaving the site. I've made the annual Top Contributor's list for almost a consecutive decade. I have made literally thousands and thousands of edits - all with very little problems. I feel like my specialist knowledge of children's shows can really benefit the site and I felt that, in my small way, I was making a difference. Recently though, it's like you've either introduced a new automated system or you've put some sort of block on my account for certain things. I'm making edits, providing screenshot proof for deletions and additions where available, and my edits are getting automatically declined within literal seconds of submitting them. Some edits take twelve hours and then are declined. I keep resubmitting, re-phrasing and providing even more proof (again, where available) and still they are declined. It's frustrating because I know I am doing the right thing - with proof to back up my claim - and I'm just being refused. I don't know what else I can do and am, quite frankly, appalled with the way I'm being treated by your internal system/staff lately. This is about the third time I've messaged with this complaint and all I get back is the standard "supply more proof and your edit will be approved" reply. Well, I can't supply any more proof. I've tried screenshots, I've even left links to the credits of shows that I'm editing - what more can I possibly do?? I've been here for over ten years, I would like to think that dedicating so much of my free time to a site for that long of a period, would be appreciated and that I would be encouraged to keep on contributing - but no. If things don't change very quickly, I'm deactivating my account and leaving. I can't deal with the frustration. I am right - and for the most part I can show you I'm right - and it still doesn't seem to matter to your systems and staff. It's just so wrong that I should feel like this after so many years. And that was the email. The support team member who wrote back told me to post this on here so that the staff can see the feedback and how unhappy I've been on the site lately. Although he didn't say it outright, I get the feeling you're trying out a new system. Well, if that's the case, take it from me - it's not working.

Hi KidsTVFan- I understand the frustration you expressed with these issues that have arisen and are still on-going, especially given that you take the time and effort to contribute updates to IMDb, which we truly appreciate. I have provided your feedback regarding this to the appropiate team for visibility and to review for further improvements. If you have examples (contribution reference numbers), so that our staff can further investigate what has been happening, I encourage you to please post them below. Again, we truly appreciate your contribution efforts and thank you for providing all of this information! Cheers!
