Guidance for title designations

I couldn't find any guidance on the correct use of the different designations for title types.  For example, "le fidèle" (original title) also appears (incorrectly capitalized) as the Italian "short title".  The correct Italian complete title, "Le fidèle - Una vita al massimo" appears as an "imdb display title", but "Le Fidele" (also incorrectly capitalized) is also listed as a "complete title" for Italy.  What qualifies a "complete title" or an "imdb display title"?

I believe ”IMDb display title” is the actual on-screen title. Or at least should be (not always the case).

From Alternate Titles

The main imdb display title for a country should reflect what title the movie/tv show is primarily known as in the locale (speaking language and country) of choice.

complete title The complete version of the primary title (or a corresponding short(er) alternate title). Since the primary title is supposed to be the complete title it is only used for special cases such as overlong primary titles (e.g. "John Carpenter's Halloween").
short title

A short version of the primary title or a corresponding long(er) alternate title.

The Italy "complete title" should probably just be removed.
