Groom (2018) - "phantom" film to be deleted
At https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5522968/ there is a film listed as Groom (2018). The director is listed as Paul Feig, who is also the director of several prominent movies including Bridesmaids (2011), The Heat (2013), Spy (2015), Ghostbusters (2016), and The Housemaid (2025).
Groom, on the other hand, has no cast listed on IMDb. The only release date listed is an Internet release date in France. And the plot is stated as "Plot kept under wraps. Described as a gay wedding comedy." So, apparently, the plot has been kept under wraps for eight years after this film was supposedly released.
It seems more likely that this is a film that in development at one time that never got made, than that a prominent director actually filmed and released the movie and yet nobody ever added any of the cast members or updated the plot. There are 14 ratings (with a weighted average of 1.0), but no reviews.
I suggest that the IMDb staff consider whether this film is actually proven to exist or whether it should be deleted.
And, as a side point, this also illustrates that a film should never be allowed to have a designation such as "Plot kept under wraps" in its plot outline after the film has supposedly been released.
