Getting a page on IMDb

Question

I am an editor of a newspaper and have appeared on a few television shows as a guest, including 'Snapped' and 'Fatal Attraction.' How do I find out if I am eligible for an IMDb page of my own? I have looked at the credits on some of the episodes I have appeared on and found nothing. Do I qualify for a page if I appeared as a guest on these shows (I was a reporter giving information on the cases)?
