genre data incomplete in title.basics.tsv.gz database
I think I have questions, ideas and problems. Praise, too!
The downloadable data only includes the first three genres in alphabetical order (I think). Sometimes there are several more genres, perhaps some that are more pertinent to the film, but those don't appear either in the database or on the top of the IMDb page for the film. I think there might be an exception for the Documentary genre -- is that always present in the genre section of the database and on the top of the webpage? Is it not possible to have a genres database that would make it possible for a user to identify all films of a certain genre?
