Further whitewashing of nazi propaganda movie and again my correction is declined
Folks, this is really annoying... The plot outline of the banned nazi propaganda movie "Stoßtrupp 1917" (https://www.imdb.com/de/title/tt0140572/) was whitewashed a few years ago (the term "Nazi propaganda" was removed). I tried to correct it in 2023 but the edit was declined. Back then I had to open a request here in the forum to make the correction possible, see this old thread: https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/data-issues-policy-discussions/contribution-declined-because-of-lack-of-evidence/640a1c891f641326d191dd2c?commentId=640fdb7657d3455af0c644c3. (There you also can find my sources.) A while ago exactly the same has happened again: Again, the term "Nazi propaganda" was removed. Again I tried to correct it. Again, I wrote the same contribution summary with all my sources from 2023. And again, the contribution was declined. This time the reason was "Does not meet contribution guidelines." - Yeah, very helpful. Thank you for nothing. What are your data reviewers doing? Why was the whitewashing of this plot outline accepted two times? And why was my correction declined two times? You really must work more careful! Please restore the non-POV version with the term "Nazi propaganda" and please ensure that no further whitewashing of this movie can happen. 18-digits submission reference number: 250402-042643-030000

Hi @Chaddy89, Thank you for your dedication to historical accuracy, and for bringing this issue to our attention. I understand your frustration, particularly since this contextual information was previously approved and included in the title's plot outline. I apologize for the inconsistency in our handling of this matter. While your historical assessment is correct and well-documented by one of your sources, IMDb's guidelines specifically require plot outlines to focus solely on describing the narrative content, without including any contextual classification - even when that classification is historically accurate. This is why your more recent correction was marked as not meeting contribution guidelines. However, I do agree this context is crucial information, and therefore suggest that it be contributed to either the trivia or keyword sections for this title. I will also escalate this case to ensure more consistent decision-making going forward. Thanks!
