A casting agent approached me for a project, he shared his IMDb link and trusting that link I thought it was genuine. He asked for cash to register in his agency claiming that he is a well known artist and had an opportunity to cast me for a well known Jewelers photoshoot. He took the money and after few hours sent me a photoshopped NEFT receipt of the brand paying me 30,000 rs. The recipient was clearly fake and I caught him, he then called me and said the brand has sent you 3k extra by mistake, he then constantly harrassed me over calls to pay him additional 3k and when I asked him about the shoot details he disappeared, leaving msgs unseen and switching off the mobile.
We artists put a lot of effort and hard work. We trust IMDb. It's a humble request to blacklist this fraudster. I hope the team takes harsh actions against him.

As Keyword_expert suggested, it is possible that the individual you communicated with may have been impersonating "Abinash Rout" to commit acts of fraud.
Going forward I would encourage you to thoroughly vet anyone who approaches you for work to ensure that they are credible and who they say they are.
