Flywheel: Ignition of the Soul (2026) - why connection declined?

Flywheel: Ignition of the Soul (2026) is a remake of Flywheel (2003). It says so right on the film's website:

https://flywheelignitionofthesoulmovie.com/

"During a promotional tour for their most-recent movie, THE FORGE, which opened #1 in Brazil, the Kendrick Brothers connected with churches, pastors, and filmmakers who shared their hopes and prayers for locally rooted, faith-driven movies. From those conversations, a Brazilian FLYWHEEL remake was born."

Why would my proposed connection of this as a remake of the earlier film be declined as "unable to verify?" It's right there.
