Five movie connections denied with "no reason captured" but accepted an hour later

I added 5 movie connections to the Stargirl episode Summer School: Chapter Seven. They were all denied with "no reason captured". I added them with the exact same reasons and they were accepted within seconds: The two connections in #210922-011629-758000 The three movie connections in #210922-002747-537000: All five movie connections accepted within seconds in contribution #210922-033006-519000: These kind of anomalies drive contributors mad. Why were the original contributions declined without a valid reason?

I get you completely @adrian I now think they do this just to lower the number of the unprocessed items. About 2 weeks almost all of my birthdate submissions were rejected just like yours. Usually they claim they can't verify (even when you provide BBC or The Guardian etc.) but this time they took it to an extreme whole new level and I've stopped adding birthdates. Some editors really check them and approve that's fine but we have some deal-breakers among the editors that resort to this misconduct to cut corners, well at least now I think that. If an editor rejects from a specific data type, he or she most likely continues to do that with the following while processing. I suggest you to stop looking for any piece of sense in this as there isn't any when it boils down to the data editors.

Hi Adrian - I can confirm that your original Connection submissions (210922-011629-758000 & 210922-002747-537000) were initially approved, however, shortly-after they were removed by another contributor, which is why the status displays as Declined (because the item was removed). I hope this helps clarify!

@Michelle This brings up even more issues: 1) It seems like the system should be able to detect this and give an appropriate message such as: "Contribution was deleted". 2) Why would another contributor be able to delete valid movie connections?
