Film Title Isn't Listed

I recently attempted to add an award to my IMDB bio, and the film I received the award for isn't listed. The film has been released, and currently in theaters. What can be done, so I can complete my new post? This has happened before. Who, at IMDB, vets the film titles?

reelmensch: There are two different problems that are possible here.

1. Is the film actually listed in the database at all? If not, you or someone else will have to submit it for listing in IMDb, using the form that begins at https://contribute.imdb.com/updates/edit?update=title and continues on succeeding screens. While the form may seem difficult to complete if you have never submitted a new title before, you can always come back here and ask questions if you get stuck. The contributors and/or staff should be able to help you.

2. Is the film already listed in the database, but it doesn't show up as an option when you try to submit it to an awards page? If so, the most likely problem is that the film has a common title and the awards pages will only provide 20 possible options. In that case, you will need to provide either the exact IMDb formatted title, or the title constant from the film's URL. Please see the discussion at https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/data-issues-policy-discussions/trying-to-add-festival-awards-for-titles/6522cc5ce82d554bfb137261 where I just helped someone else with this same problem today for further details.

I hope this helps.
