False credit

Hi all, Anybody know how to get i touch with IMDb - and not just their bots? I have falsely been credited as associate producer on a title I have not worked on. requested the removal several times - and also reached out to the director/producer who has also requested the removal of the credit. Still IMDb rejects this - claiming that they lack evidence. But how can I prove that I have not worked on a film? To me, this is simple: I state that I have not worked on it - but IMDb obviously thinks different but does not advise on what kind of evidence, would be satisfying. Can anyone advise? Best, Henrik

Hi Hunderbjerg- In order for our staff to review, can you post the link to your name page and tell us which is the credit you referred to as mentioned above? Cheers!

@Hunderbjerg- Thank you for providing the information! Can the director or you re-submit and provide us with further evidence (link to the video online)? You are also welcome to post the evidence in this thread.

@Maya - would you come back on my question? Best, Henrik

Yes - but I cannot do this. It is not my film, it is not present online. And again, my word should be the best prove, that I am not involved in the film. So, what to do? Best, Henrik

Hello Hunderbjerg, The best way to remove your credit is by providing a screengrab from the onscreen credits, showing that your name is not listed in the Title. Also you can provide a link for the video and we can verify. You can re submit anytime with the evidence to remove the name. You can find help and instructions in our Help Articles: https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/contribution-information/how-can-i-submit-additional-verification-for-a-credit-submission/GN93ME9NVXHVE36E?ref_=helpsrall# In addition, keep on mind that, it is our policy not to alter or delete any kind of correct/factual information from our records.

Hi again, I do understand that you do not want to delete correct information - but I fail to understand why you want to stick to false information. Again, as I told earlier, the film is not accessible online. And further, why is this on me? You should just remove the credit. Best, Henrik
