Error message (glitch) when adding keywords - "No category selected. Keywords require a category."

I am getting this error message when trying to add keywords to titles:

No category selected.
Keywords require a category.

I have never seen this error message before. It appears to be a glitch.

Hi @keyword_expert -

Thanks for reporting, I have filed a ticket for the appropriate team to investigate.  In the meantime, are you able to submit the keyword when the "Warning" box is check-marked?

It appears things are back to normal now (as of around 6 pm Eastern)

I also noticed keywords got their own section in the update form, separate from "Plot".

Announcement incoming?

Hi @Peter_pbn -

I was not aware of an expected change within the contribution form, I will follow-up with the team on this display change as well and confirm the details here once I have more information.

I noticed this about a week ago. I was wondering if I missed an announcement.

I hadn't noticed that. One thing I did notice was, for about a week, when adding or editing keywords directly from the keyword pages, the order of the menu choices switched. Previously it was keywords first, then genres second. For the past week, that order switched. Now it's back to listing keywords first.

It seems like keyword categories are being developed behind the scenes. Note the "other" that now shows up when deleting the keyword "psychotronic-film," as shown in this screenshot.

And now they are back into plot subsection. Weird.
