Error in showtimes section

Please see the problem in the "I Need to Know" section at https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/i-need-to-know/movie-connected-to-local-theater/658cc6044056975138054e83 titled "Movie connected to local theater".

As indicated there, the wrong version of The Color Purple is being linked in the showtimes section -- 1985 instead of 2023. I'm posting here since it's possible that the staff might not have seen it in the "I Need to Know" section. Please feel free to merge these threads.

Question why is IMDb site not showing the current Color Purple 2023 movie linking it to the local theaters? I have to go to the theater website to see the current representation. When I go the the current color purple page in IMDb it is not saying now showing. However the 1985 Color Purple is showing a link that it is now showing in theaters. Why?

Shaybutter: I am going to provide a screen capture to show the IMDb staff what is going on:

As you can see, the theater listings page is showing showtimes for The Color Purple (1985) instead of The Color Purple (2023), and the 1985 film's page links to showtimes while the 2023 film's page doesn't. In fact, the 2023 film is the one that is playing in theaters now. The above is just one example; this problem applies to the IMDb showtime listings for theaters throughout the USA.

The app has the 1985 Spielberg version of The Color Purple connected to movie showtimes instead of the current 2023 version. This is incorrect and very confusing.
