erroneous cast entry - difficulty in removing
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0050910/reference I tried to remove a name from the cast - I have watched the movie and the actress in question neither appears nor is credited - and as far as I am aware there is no evidence to suggest otherwise. The information is also erroneous on one other site, but this may well have been copied from the erroneous imdb page. Why is the deletion submission rejected?

Hello. thank you for your reply. The uncredited attribute is already there, I added it way back. But having viewed the film carefully, I can't see the actress, she is not credited and she is not listed in a print encyclopaedia for the film, so I feel she should be removed. The film is very loosely a sequel, where a handful of the cast - possibly just 3 individuals, reprise their roles. At some point wikipedia listed her as appearing, presumably based on the erroneous imdb entry. It has since been removed from there. And sadly the actress has passed away. I just find it frustrating that the deletion submission is rejected when the original erroneous addition submission would have been accepted without evidence.
