Episode running times

Example: When watching The Pitt on HBO Max (in Europe) there are running times displayed in the app's episode list: the latest episode says 49 minutes. When viewing the episode, the displayed running time is almost 51 minutes. This includes a "previously on" segment, end credits, additional credits for language versions, and a "next time on" segment. My guess is that the 49-minute number doesn't include the version credits or the "next time on" segment.

IMDb's guidelines don't clarify which running time to use.

Hi Peter_pnb-

For Episode Running Times, the time should capture only the episode without any recaps or similar segments (i.e. 'previously on', or 'next time on'). These segments should only be included in the time if they are actually part of the episode (i.e. they appear within the episode itself, after the main titles and before the end credits).

Regarding the guidelines, we have forwarded to the respective team to review.

Cheers!
