Entry keeps getting rejected?

Hi! I appeared on two episodes of a popular tv show and one episode of another, but IMDb keeps rejecting my entries. I wasn't listed on the credits but I do have my paystubs, call sheets, and even a screenshot of me in the show and yet it still says unable to verify. Has anyone else had issues like this or have any advice to get my entries verified? Thanks!

Jessica: Please post your last full data submission here on this message board. You can copy it out of the receipt you would have received from IMDb by e-mail immediately after sending it in. Some of the regulars on the board may review it and, if they can, they may provide suggestions as to how to improve the submission to get it included in the database. (Also, please include the submission reference number -- it's an 18-digit number that will look something like 240123-123456-789000.)

Also, please check your submission history at https://contribute.imdb.com/updates/history/ and copy the rejection notice from there, and post that here too.

Here is a screenshot of the submission receipt for the more important credit. I also provided both my paystub and a screengrab of me on the screen as proof and it was still rejected.

Jessica: It looks like you may have tried to submit your credit for the series "Chicago P.D.", as opposed to a specific episode. If so, that is almost certainly the problem.

If a TV series has any episodes listed -- and "Chicago P.D.", having been on the air for 12 years, has 229 episodes listed in IMDb -- all credits for the show should be submitted to the page for the specific episode.

Also, since the formatting of episode titles on IMDb is complex, I recommend that you start from the page for the episode (see https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2805096/episodes/?season=12 for the list of episodes in the current season) and add your name to the cast. That way, you only have to get your own name correct. By contrast, if you started from your own name page and tried to add the episode to your own credits, you would need to get all the punctuation in the formatted episode title correct.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

@gromit82 thank you so much! That makes totally sense. I just added myself to the correct episodes and will let you know if it doesn’t work. Thanks again!

@gromit82 so all three of my entries were declined again even after submitting to specific episodes. They all say “unable to verify” AGAIN. Any suggestions?

Hi @jessicaskwara -

Can you post those 18-digit submission reference numbers here for our staff to review?

@Michelle yes! There are three:

241106-014650-028000
241106-014830-675000
241106-015001-358000

I also have more than just the one piece of evidence for each. Thank you so much!

Hi @jessicaskwara -

Since your name was not credited on-screen for these episode roles, you will need to be sure to include the 'uncredited' attribute.  I have resubmitted these credits on your behalf with the attributes and they will be reviewed again by our staff shortly.

I hope this helps!

@Michelle hi! It’s STILL getting declined. I’m not sure what other proof I can give that I worked on these shows. I can send a screenshot of me on tv? Photos from set? What else would work? Thanks!

Hi @jessicaskwara,

Please see our Help guide which details the types of sufficient evidence for uncredited credits, under the subtitle:

The name is not listed in the end credits or the title is unreleased

Cheers!
